It pairs the LGA1851 socket with the Intel Z890 chipset, giving you a current foundation for a gaming rig or a capable all-round desktop. The full ATX form factor leaves room for expansion, so the board can grow with your needs. For the discerning South African gamer, it is a dependable base on which to build.

Tired of Running Out of Memory and Storage Space?

Big game libraries, content projects and multitasking all demand room to breathe. This motherboard offers 4 DDR5 memory slots and supports up to 256 GB of memory, so you can start with what you need and expand later. Storage is just as generous, with 4 M.2 slots for fast drives and PCIe 5.0 support. That means you can keep your operating system, games and projects on separate drives without reaching for extra adapters.

Stay Connected Wired and Wireless

Onboard 802.11axe Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 let you connect to your network and your wireless peripherals without adding a separate card. If you prefer a cable, the 2.5 Gb/s LAN port gives you a faster wired connection than standard Gigabit for online play and large downloads. The board ships with 2 ASRock Wi-Fi 2.4/5/6 GHz antennas, so wireless is ready once you fit them.

Rear I/O Ready for Fast Peripherals and Drives

The rear panel includes 2 Thunderbolt 4/USB4 Type-C ports at 40 Gb/s, ideal for fast external storage and high-bandwidth devices. You also get 1 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port at 10 Gb/s, 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and 4 USB 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice and everyday accessories. With this mix of ports, you can plug in both your newest and older devices without a hub.
